  Holiday Lighting 2013 Philadelphia

There are quite a few, these are simply the ones that I really want to get to see this year

Rittenhouse Square — Tuesday, December 3, 5 p.m.: 18th and Walnut Streets Every year, the center of Rittenhouse Square illuminates with a giant Christmas tree, this year standing 35-feet tall. On Tuesday, December 3 at 5 p.m.,

Love Park — Wednesday, December 4, 5 p.m.: 1599 John F. Kennedy Boulevard Due to ongoing construction at Dilworth Plaza, City Hall’s Christmas tree will once again be located across the street at the Christmas Village in Love Park.

Giant Menorah Lighting at Rittenhouse Square — Wednesday, December 4, 5:30 p.m.: 18th and Walnut streets. As dusk settles over Rittenhouse Square on Wednesday, December 4,

East Passyunk — Thursday, December 5, 5-9 p.m.: 11th Street and East Passyunk Avenue. Back and bigger than ever is East Passyunk’s annual Christmas tree lighting at the neighborhood’s iconic fountain.

Seaport Museum  How about this lighted boat parade on the river?  December 14, 2013.

Fitler Square Sunday, December 15, 2013 Christmas Tree lighting in Fitler Square 5 pm The Philadelphia School à capella group Measure for Measure

5:30 Santa arrives with treats for the kiddies.

This is one of my childhood favorites...Smedley-Street-Christmas-Light-Spectacular in South Philly, go to the link for the dates.  Grab the family/friends, get some hot chocolate and head on down to this festive street.
